What Is Laser Therapy?

Laser therapy is a non-invasive form of pain management that allows your pet to experience relief without the use of surgery or drugs. It can be used to treat a wide variety of conditions, including hip dysplasia, degenerative joint disease, arthritis, stiffness, sprains/strains, post-surgery pain, post-dentistry pain, hot spots and skin infections, ear infections, and traumatic injuries like fractures and puncture wounds. Laser therapy can be used on its own or in conjunction with other treatments.

The process is simple and entirely pain-free:

Many of our patients exhibit signs of contentedness and enjoyment during the procedure itself. Pets that are initially stressed and anxious may begin to relax and even fall asleep during laser therapy. Afterward, our clients often report that their companions have increased mobility and an overall better quality of life.

How to Tell If Your Pet Is in Pain

Because our pets cannot speak it’s not always immediately obvious that they are in pain. After all, they can’t tell us when their joints ache or when something hurts. Because of this, it’s good to know the signs that your pet may be in pain. By being able to identify if your pet is in pain, you’ll be able to determine if he or she may benefit from laser therapy.

Some signs that your pet may be suffering from pain include:

If you notice any of these signs in your pet, get in touch with Quakertown Veterinary Clinic to find out if your pet may benefit from our veterinary laser therapy treatments in Quakertown. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is happy to answer your questions and address any concerns you may have.

Benefits of Laser Therapy

Laser therapy for pets offers non-invasive pain relief and promotes healing by stimulating cellular activity. This innovative treatment accelerates tissue repair, reduces inflammation, and alleviates discomfort associated with various conditions like arthritis or post-surgical recovery. With no known side effects, laser therapy enhances your pet’s overall well-being, providing a safe and effective option for managing pain and supporting their recovery.

I wouldn't take Mr Theo anywhere else.I drive well over an hour to get here but I trust them and have faith in them.Awesome people, awesome clinic.
Even though I ultimately had to euthanize my horse, everything from start to finish with this vet's office was seamless and caring. I was not a client of theirs but my horse needed to be seen ASAP. The woman I spoke with on the phone to schedule the appointment got me in right away, answered questions I had and made that part so easy and stress- free. Dr. Brad is the doctor who came out to look at my horse and he was extremely knowledgable, explained everything in detail, and didn't run unnecessary tests or pressure me into anything. When we finally made the hard decison to say goodbye, he was extremely reassuring it was the best option for my horse and made the whole process as easy as he could have for me. I'm very grateful for Dr. Brad and this clinic, they made one of the worst days of my life just a little more bearable. Thank you for everything.
Caring, empathetic staff. I would use them again for emergency services.
I never had as much of an amazing judge free experience at the vet. His dr. Was so nice and she really took the time with us to listen and explain our issues. Cant wait to go back!
