Dr. Ferrara grew up in New Jersey but he's lived in Colorado, Massachusetts, Florida, and Virginia throughout his life. He eventually received his veterinary degree at the University of Pennsylvania and started at QVC in 2020. He is interested in infectious disease and One Health. In school he completed research in Kathmandu, Nepal related to raw milk and diarrheal disease in humans and livestock and he also published a qualitative study about Rabies post exposure prophylaxis and vaccination in Arequipa, Peru. At QVC, he is focused on applying his knowledge of public health and preventative medicine to his small animal patients. At home, he has three cats (Midori, Princess Mononoke, and Dewey) and one dog (Dottie). Outside of veterinary medicine, he enjoys distance running, triathlons, backpacking, filmography, and cooking.
