- Rabbits have peg teeth behind their incisors
- Rabbits require more than pellets in their diet
- Rabbits' teeth continually grow
- Rabbits have teeth in the back of their mouths called premolars and molars
- Rabbits can use cat litter boxes to urinate and deficate
- Rabbits eat their morning fecal pellets (cecotrophs)
These are just some of the fun and important facts you should know about owning a pet rabbit. Rabbits should have yearly health exams with a veterinarian who is familiar with rabbits.
