Externship FAQs

Who can participate in an externship?

Externships are open to students currently attending veterinary schools that are U.S. accredited

How do I apply for an externship?

It is easiest to apply for an externship via the online form. The externship schedule fills up quickly and is on a first come first serve basis. We do not have any restrictions on the length of your stay. If you have any questions, please contact Jen Geese at (215) 515-8810.

Do you provide housing? Do I need to have my own transportation?

Quakertown Veterinary Clinic has free housing on a first come first serve basis.
Providing your own transportation is not a requirement, but would make it easier to get around during your down time

Is there any paperwork that I need to submit?

Once your externship is confirmed, you will need to send the following documents via email to jgeese@quakertownvet.com
